Nine Lives Foundation Cat Adoption Policy

It is the policy of Nine Lives Foundation that all potential cat adopters complete the Cat/Kitten Adoption Consultation Form and complete an interview with an Adoption Coordinator in order to be considered as a forever home for our cats and kittens.
Nine Lives Foundation will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with the Adoption Coordinator, Nine Lives Foundation may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.

Completion of the application and interview process does not guarantee an adoption approval or guarantee the adoption of a particular cat or kitten.  Nine Lives Foundation is a privately run, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards.

Please read the following instructions carefully.

1. Please fill out all pages of the Adoption Consultation Form as completely as possible. The submission of a complete form will expedite the review process.

2. Your completed adoption form may be faxed to us at 602-801-2284 or scanned and emailed to us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  A Nine Lives Foundation Adoption Coordinator will contact you as soon as possible.  It's a good idea to bring your own copy of the completed Consultation Form with you when you're ready to pick up your newly adopted cat.

At Nine Lives Foundation, we believe there is a home for every animal we foster. Our foster program provides us the opportunity to evaluate the behavior of our cats and kittens in a family environment, allows us to address any unwanted behavioral issues, and allows us to provide adoptive parents with all the information necessary to make an informed adoption decision and insure that their new cat or kitten will be a good match with their family.
